In the spot (it emitted in the U.S.) there is a child who uses a vending machine for drinks. The child spends a coin and get a Coca Cola. He puts the can on the floor. Then he spends another coin and gets another Coca Cola also leaves it on the floor. He leaves on the floor the two cans. When the two cans of Coca Cola are on the ground the child climbs on them. What makes the child is getting a Pepsi and then goes.

But, in Spain, It is unfair advertising of Pepsi because Coca Cola is underestimated explicitly. The comparison is not done an objective manner and non-essential characteristics are compared, relevant, verifiable and representative features of the brand. It is a denigrating comparison.

Is therefore illegal advertising and in Spain couldn’t broadcast the commercial on TV.
